Privacy Policy
Raiden Downloader is a small project run by and for a private group. This page explains, in plain terms, what happens to the information you use on the site.
What we do not do
- We do not have user accounts, and we do not run a database of users or downloads.
- We do not intentionally save the TikTok links you paste or the videos you download on our server.
- We do not use advertising or analytics trackers.
What happens when you download a video
- Third-party provider. The TikTok link you paste is sent from our server to an external service that finds the video file. That service has its own policies, and we do not control what it logs or keeps.
- Video transfer. The video file is passed through our server to your browser. We do not alter it, and we do not add any watermark or credit to it.
- Abuse protection. To limit abuse, our server temporarily counts requests per IP address in memory. These counters are not kept as a permanent record.
- Hosting logs. Our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address, time and request path). We do not control those logs. Error messages may also be written to the server log to help us fix problems.
What is stored in your browser
Your recent-downloads list (thumbnail, username, date, status and link) is saved in your own browser's local storage. It never leaves your device through this site. You can remove it at any time with the "Clear history" button or by clearing your browser data.
Cookies
The site does not set cookies for tracking. If access protection is turned on, the browser or site may store a login session to remember that you signed in.
Your choices
- Avoid pasting links to videos you would not want a third-party service to see.
- Clear your history whenever you like.
Changes and contact
We may update this page if the way the site works changes, and the date above will change with it. Questions or removal requests can go to the site owner, Leon.
